The Launch Conference

I was really disappointed that I could only make it to the first hour of the event and had to leave before everything really got going - but I've heard great feedback so far!

I feel the conference was a great success. Most people left the conference knowing which organizations make up the YRN and the people involved, more confident in doing social research, and we now know more about you. What research projects you have done and hope to do in the future. I am very excited about the potential for the network to make a real difference to young people’s lives beyond the network. Five key areas to consider when considering your research questions are: 14-19 COMPULSORY EDUCATION, SUFFICIENCY, ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR, SUSTAINABILITY, AND PLACE.
We all thoroughly enjoyed the weekend at Warwick University. Signposts Young Peoples Stakeholders Group had a fantastic time, learnt some really useful tools for carrying out research and made lots of new friends!
We all came away very empowered and excited about our research project.
