Halton announces plans

Halton Youth Service has annouced some plans for Youth Work Week. They have built on the challenge of Takeover Day and have created Takeover Week - young people will take over the running of all youth service centres and projects during Youth Work Week
 
Young people will also formally launch a borough-wide Positive Images Campaign to challenge negative stereotypes of young people. Here's one of the posters created by young people:

A further intiative for the week will showcase the achievements of three youth- led grass roots youth organisations to show how young people can be empowered to lead their own services.
